Chicago Police Officer Seriously Injured in Brass Knuckles Attack at Ambulance Scene.

A Chicago police officer is recovering after he was brutally attacked Tuesday by two suspects—one wearing brass knuckles—who were blocking an ambulance, according to family members.
The assault happened Tuesday when Officer Kevin Mangan responded to a call concerning people blocking an ambulance at the scene of an unrelated incident in the McKinley Park neighborhood, WBBM-TV reports. As Managan was writing a ticket, a woman began pounding on his cruiser, and a man allegedly wearing brass knuckles started punching the officer, Denise McBroom, Mangan's aunt, told the Tribune.
According to McBroom, the suspects, who were not connected with the ambulance call, attacked Mangan because he was a law enforcement officer.
Mangan was repeatedly struck by the suspect. The attack severely damaged his mouth.

An unconstitutional "split" sentence.  My Judge, Judge Hogan called J6 worse than the war of 1812.

All I did was chant "Stop the Steal!" inside the Capitol and wear the wrong Tshirt.

Sonny’s BBQ hosts fundraiser for injured Lexington police officer

Officer Kevin Van Wert was seriously injured after Naqeeb Mufallah allegedly sped off during a traffic stop as the officer held on to the car.

Van Wert’s body hit a light pole before he fell to the ground, according to police, and he has undergone several surgeries.

In a Facebook post, Nicholasville police invited the Central Kentucky community to the fundraiser to support Van Wert and his family during his recovery.

On behalf of the Samuelson family, La Porte County Sheriff Ronald C. Heeg announces the following update regarding Deputy Jon Samuelson.

Following yesterday’s senseless incident at Franciscan Health Hospital – Michigan City Campus, Deputy Samuelson was airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for advanced medical treatment. 

A team of surgeons and medical staff prepared Deputy Samuelson for surgery.  He underwent approximately eight (8 hours of surgery, which surgeons later described as successful.  Medical staff remain optimistic regarding his recovery.   

Deputy Samuelson remains in critical but stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Hospital.

“Thank you to the surgeons and the entire medical staff at Memorial Hospital forthe exceptional care being provided to Deput Samuelson,” stated Sheriff Heeg.  “Please continue to pray for Jon, his family and friends, and the entire laenforcement community.”

Deputy Samuelson is a 12-year veteran of the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office.  He currently serves as a member of the agency’s Highway Interdiction Unit, is the handler for K-9 Bosco, and is designated as a US Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force Officer out of the Merrillville District Office. 

In the days and weeks ahead, further information will be released when appropriate to do so.

Today’s: This FBI saved a 12 year old child from an alleged abuser.

Recently, out of FBI New Haven’s Child Exploitation Task Force with local partners, we arrested Bryan Cruz Solano (20) on federal charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Child.

Law enforcement had received a tip that Cruz was distributing child sexual abuse material including videos of himself with the 12 year old.

After investigators moved rapidly, Cruz was arrested and will face justice - after additional photos and videos of the victim had been found in his residence during the search.
