Surveillance footage shows the moment a man is struck by lightning while walking his three dogs in Texas. Alexander Coreas is seen in the video, shared by Stuebner Airline Veterinary Hospital, on Thursday evening around 7pm walking his German Shepherd's, Sophie, Honey and Hazel. Coreas is shown struck by a flash of lightning that sends him crashing to the ground. According to a GoFundMe page set up by Coreas' family, a vet technician named Bill from Stuebner Airline Veterinary Hospital found Coreas without a heartbeat. Bill immediately began to administer CPR with the help of clinic worker, Christy Mittler. Mittler told KTRK that she and other good Samaritans saw that Coreas wasn't moving and that his 'shoes and socks got blown off his feet'. โšก๏ธ
Immigrants applying for U.S. visas will be denied entry into the country unless they can prove they can afford health care, according to a proclamation signed Friday by President Donald Trump. The new rule applies to people seeking immigrant visas from abroad - not those in the U.S. already. It does not affect lawful permanent residents. It does not apply to asylum seekers, refugees or children. But it would apply to the spouses and parents of U.S. citizens. That could have an impact on families who are trying to bring their parents to the U.S. The proclamation says immigrants will be barred from entering the country unless they are to be covered by health insurance within 30 days of entering or have enough financial resources to pay for any medical costs.

Spanish police arrested four drug traffickers who stopped to save their lives after the officers were thrown overboard during a high speed boat chase off the coast of Malaga on Friday. The three police officers fell into the sea following a collision with the trafficking boat during the chase, a Guardia Civil statement said. A police helicopter hovering overhead appealed to the speedboat via megaphone to stop and help the officers after their boat "span out of control", and the traffickers did so, pulling the agents to safety unharmed. However, when police found three tonnes of hashish in the waters nearby, the rescue did not appear to work in the traffickers' favour. The four on board were arrested regardless. "They were arrested for drug trafficking," a police statement said, indicating that more than 80 bundles of hash had been recovered from the sea. ๐Ÿ˜‚ #lol

The man who allegedly beat four sleeping homeless men to death in Manhattan's Chinatown has a history of violence and a lengthy arrest record, according to law enforcement sources. Randy Rodriguez Santos, 24, was arrested early Saturday morning when police found him walking near Canal Street while carrying the alleged murder weapon - a piece of metal pipe. Police told the New York Post that Santos, who is believed to be homeless, has 14 past arrests, four of which occurred within the last 12 months. Santos was said to have been arrested in May at a Brooklyn men's shelter, where he allegedly attacked another man who was living there, using a metal object similar to the one he supposedly used to kill the four men in Chinatown Saturday. #NY
Masked pro-democracy protesters marched through Hong Kong in defiance of a ban on face coverings as the city ground to a halt on Saturday, with the subway suspended and many shops shuttered following another night of violence. Thousands of protesters staged unsanctioned marches and flashmob protests at multiple locations, a day after the city's leader outlawed masks at protests, invoking colonial-era emergency powers not used for half a century. The marches came as a group of pro-democracy politicians filed a legal challenge against the government's use of the law, which triggered an overnight rash of widespread violence - including the starting of fires and attacks on an off-duty police officer who fired a live shot in self-defence that injured a 14-year-old boy. The latest acts of resistance came after a night of widespread chaos as hardcore protesters trashed dozens of subway stations, vandalised shops, set fires and blocked roads. #HK
