Chicago: A man on felony pretrial release ran from cops who tried to stop him on the Blue Line — running on the tracks from Clinton to UIC.

When cops finally caught him, they discovered he was carrying a pistol equipped with a machine gun switch, CPD says.

Master Patrol Officer Josh Small  has retired from the Bradenton Police Department, Florida after 23 years of dedicated service.

Officer Small joined BPD in 2003 and spent two years on the Street Crime Unit before serving as a Field Training Officer for a dozen years. He most recently served as a Crime Prevention and Community Policing Officer.

Josh was a member of our Honor Guard for nearly 20 years and a member of the all-volunteer Law Enforcement United bike team, which raises money for the families of fallen officers. He's a recipient of BPD's Medal of Honor, Medal of Merit, Distinguished Service Award, and Congressional Law Enforcement Dedication and Professionalism Award, to name a few! Well done Brother!💙
