BREAKING: A 20-year-old Harris County Texas man is in custody after threatening to "bomb" Highway 290, according to court documents.
Jeremiah Chavez is charged with unlawful possession of explosive components, a third-degree felony.
According to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman's Office, they responded to an address on Bronze Leaf Drive in a Cypress neighborhood just north of US 290 and inside the Grand Parkway on Monday night around 10 p.m.
Authorities said a caller from the location said he was planning to detonate explosive devices and conduct a mass shooting.
When authorities got to the home, they said they found a rifle, a lot of ammunition, and "bomb-making components." Chavez was arrested at the scene.

Prayers for the California Corrections officer who was stabbed in the line of duty yesterday morning.🙏🏻
A California inmate already serving life in prison for repeated attacks on corrections officers, including the murder of a corrections officer in San Bernardino County in 2005, allegedly attempted to stab another officer to death Monday at a Sacramento prison, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said.
The inmate, 56-year-old Jon Christopher Blaylock, allegedly attacked the officer in a cell block at California State Prison, Sacramento at about 10:15 a.m.
“The officer sustained multiple puncture wounds,” the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said in a press release. “Staff responded immediately and used physical force to quickly quell the attack.”
Medical professionals at the prison initially treated the officer’s injuries. The officer was taken to a hospital and is considered in “good condition” and awaiting discharge, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said.

BREAKING: Four employees were hospitalized after a hazmat situation unfolded at Disneyland in Anaheim, California on Tuesday, authorities said.
According to Anaheim Fire and Rescue, crews arrived at Disneyland after a group of employees reported an odor and felt minor symptoms around 12:30 p.m. in a backstage area near the Star Tours ride. The employees reported minor pain, shortness of breath and dizziness.
