On February 27, 2026, just before 1 a.m., deputies with team HCSO responded to a prowler call in Tampa.

Our Aviation Section saw Anthony Holmes, 56, entering multiple vehicles on the 4400 block of Ranchwood Lane. Deputies located him and gave several commands, including warnings that a K-9 would be deployed, but he fled on foot.

Our K-9 apprehended Holmes, and deputies arrested him on multiple charges, including Armed Burglary of Conveyance (x3), Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Credit or Debit Card (x4), and Grand Theft Firearm.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) responded to a crash on Old Fort Bayou Road involving a Jackson County Sheriff’s Department patrol vehicle Friday about 3:37 p.m.

MHP officials said deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department were responding to a call with lights and sirens activated when one of the patrol units collided with an SUV that was entering Old Fort Bayou Road from Rose Farm Road.

Those officials said the deputy was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for his recovery🙏🏻

MHP said the SUV driver was not injured in the crash.

Please, pray for the two Navajo Police officers who were shot in the line of duty last night.🙏🏻

New Mexico: According to reports, officers responded to a call near the Navajo Housing Authority at approximately 11:50 a.m. after reports of individuals shooting in the area.

As a precaution, a shelter-in-place was issued for the Tohajiilee community while law enforcement responded to the situation.

Two Navajo Nation police officers were transported to Albuquerque for medical treatment and are currently reported to be in stable condition.

Deadly tornadoes hit parts of the U.S.
Severe storms and tornadoes across the Midwest and Plains have killed at least 6 people.
States like Michigan and Oklahoma suffered major damage with destroyed homes and widespread power outages.

Aerial footage shows significant tornado damage near Union Lake in Branch County, Michigan. The Branch County Sheriff’s Office said there have been four fatalities and twelve reported injuries.

Seven tornadoes were reported across northeast Oklahoma as powerful storms caused major damage and deadly impacts near Beggs.

Two people were killed near Beggs Oklahoma when their manufactured home was completely destroyed by a tornado with only blocks and a concrete porch seen remaining. The same tornado damaged part of Beggs School Buildings. Earlier power flashes as strong winds and possible tornado moved into Tulsa. Drone captured a weak tornado moving through Depew Oklahoma. That same storm eventually moved into Tulsa dropping another tornado that heavily damaged Tulsa Tech and the adjoining neighborhood.
