NEW: Two LAPD officers were hurt following a pursuit crash in downtown Los Angeles.

According to investigators, the incident began as an argument that escalated when a man pulled out a handgun and fired multiple rounds toward people in the area.

Officers from LAPD’s Newton Division and Central Division later located the suspect vehicle and initiated a pursuit through streets surrounding the produce market district.

During the collision, the suspect’s vehicle and two LAPD patrol cars were involved in the crash. Authorities say two officers were injured and transported to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for their recovery🙏🏻

Happening Now: Heavy police scene by middle school after Sacramento highway shooting, officials say

A person is in the hospital after a Sacramento highway shooting Wednesday morning, officials said. A search is on for a vehicle linked to multiple other shootings.  A heavy police presence can be seen at Dos Rios and Vine streets by Smythe Academy of Arts and Sciences Middle School in the Dos Rios Triangle. A gray sedan can be seen in front of the campus with its windows blown out.  The California Highway Patrol, which is handling the investigation because the shooting was along Highway 160 near Richards Boulevard, said officers are searching for a gray or white pickup truck with a rack.  CHP said it's investigating reports of other shootings in the south Sacramento and Northgate areas, where the truck is believed to be linked. The gray sedan was the vehicle shot at on Highway 160. After the shooting, the sedan was parked outside of Smythe Academy, where the person shot was later taken to the hospital.

UPDATE: On this “Wanted Wednesday” we can report that Delphi Williams was arrested by the Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement (SAFE) Task Force this week. Williams has a prior conviction for child molestation and failed to register as a sex offender. He is now in custody at the Elmwood Correctional Complex.

Gwinnett County Police were dispatched to what can only be described as a chaotic scene near Bonnett Creek Lane and Hog Mountain Road.
Master Police Officer Hunt and Corporal Westbrook quickly responded and apprehended the suspect, who turned out to be none other than “Hank” the donkey, fresh off a midnight escape while his owner was catching some much needed sleep.
Witnesses reported Hank trotting down Hog Mountain Road like he was auditioning for the next Fast & Furious movie, creating more of a scene than a toddler who found the hidden candy stash.
Cpl. Westbrook assisted with transporting the “prisoner” safely back home, where Hank was released with a verbal warning.
