A Florida lawyer whose work for WikiLeaks landed him before the Mueller Commission and a small group of supporters of President Donald Trump just dropped on social media a humorous pro-MAGA video on the riffs of the 1970s disco anthem YMCA. Released about noon Monday, the video starts in the same fashion of The Village People's original song with vintage views of the Manhattan's old YMCA building -except that in his version, the real neon sign was replaced with MAGA. In the parody by the fake band The American People, the faces of the original singers dressed to look like a motorcycle cop, an Indian Chief, a cowboy, a construction worker, a biker and a GI are replaced with the faces of Trump as the front man and democratic presidential candidates Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Cory Booker as backup singers. πŸ•ΊπŸ»πŸ˜‚ #LMAO #MAGA

Federal prosecutors in California are conducting a criminal probe into e-cigarette maker Juul Labs Inc, Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter. The focus of the probe by the US attorney's office of the Northern District of California, which is in early stages, was unclear, the report said. Juul and the US attorney's office did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment. In recent months, hundreds of reports of vaping-related illnesses have been reported, local governments in Michigan and New York have banned flavored e-cigs and the FDA has been investigating Juul's marketing practices. But it's not yet clear if the new probe may relate to accusations that Juul advertises to teenagers and youth, health issues, or something else entirely.

A slain Texas police officer was recently robbed of the chance to see his son's middle school football debut, so his brothers and sisters in blue did their best to fill his shoes. Around 50 uniformed officers from across the South Texas region traveled to McAllen, Texas on Saturday to watch Joaquin Espericueta and his Cathey Middle School football seventh-grade team in action. Joaquin's dad, Mission Police Department Corporal Jose 'Speedy' Espericueta, was shot and killed on June 20 after responding to another officer's call for assistance about a local mother who said her son had shot at her car, according to CNN. The officer arrived to find the suspect, Juan Carlos Chapa Jr., 33, who ran from Jose before turning and firing multiple shots at him.

This is the staggering moment a dog is rescued from 'mountains of rubble' in The Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian devastated much of the islands. The footage showed the initially-terrified pet hidden among rocks before it approached Douglas Thron for food, water and comfort. He claims to have never seen any place 'as destroyed as Marsh Harbor' in the archipelago after it was battered by 185mph winds and lashed with rain. The Category 5 hurricane blasted the islands for more than 40 hours leaving 52 dead and a further 3000 people still missing two weeks on. Thron, who was visiting the island to deliver aid and to film the destruction in the hopes of bringing public awareness, noticed multiple animals as he filmed with his drone. He's now fundraising after realizing it was an effective way to find the cats and dogs living among broken buildings, overturned cars and debris 'before it's too late.'
These incredible color photographs reveal what it was like to live in rural America amid the struggles of the Great Depression and World War II. Around 1,600 of the vivid images were released by The Library of Congress, which depict what it was like on rural farmlands in America, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, from nearly 80 years ago. They were taken by the U.S. government's Farm Security Administration (FSA) and later the Office of War Information (OWI) to show life between 1939 and 1944. The snapshots captured an era more typically seen in black and white and showed the transformation from times that seemed to inspire John Steinbeck's classic novel Grapes of Wrath to the US readying itself for war. πŸ—Ώ #history

A harrowing video from inside a doors-off sightseeing helicopter that crashed in a New York City river last year shows doomed passengers struggling to free themselves from harnesses as the aircraft fills with water, federal investigators said. 'How do I cut this?' one passenger asks, just 13 seconds before the helicopter becomes completely submerged in the East River in March 2018. The National Transportation Safety Board made a transcript of the video public on Monday, but the footage itself was not provided. It was taken from a GoPro camera mounted on the cabin ceiling. The transcript painted a picture of tragedy that unfolded in mere seconds, with one passenger reaching for a spot on his chest where a hook knife had been seen earlier, another pulling in vain at the shoulder straps of his harness and a third heard panting. All five passengers drowned. Police and fire department divers said they found their bodies strapped in harnesses and used knives to cut them loose. #NYC
