Trump Delivers Great News For Americans Who Want Affordable Pickup Trucks

The Trump administration repealed Obama-era greenhouse gas regulations on vehicles, potentially saving Americans over $2,400 per vehicle and increasing affordability of pickup trucks. Stellantis, a major automaker, praised the decision, calling it a win for consumer choice. This marks the second major regulatory move by the Trump administration aimed at making vehicles more affordable, following a December decision to eliminate a Biden-era fuel regulation.

NEW: 3 DEAD, including the suspect, and 1 in CRITICAL condition following violent crime spree in Madison County, Texas.

Around 7:50 a.m., deputies were called to Fraley’s Food Store in Midway for an aggravated robbery call. When they arrived, they found a woman with multiple gunshot wounds. She was rushed to St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital in critical condition.

Investigators say she and the suspect knew each other and had previously been in a relationship.

Authorities say the suspect fled in a stolen pickup. DPS later spotted the truck on FM 1119, and after a short pursuit that ended with a PIT maneuver, the suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Madison County Jail.

But the situation didn’t end there.

During the jail intake process, officials say the suspect became unresponsive. Lifesaving measures were started immediately, but he was later pronounced dead at the jail. The Texas Rangers have been called in to conduct an independent investigation into the in-custody death. That's all we know about the situation at the jail.

As the morning unfolded, deputies were also called to FM 2346, where they found a deceased man with multiple gunshot wounds.

A short time later, a second deceased man was found in the same area. Investigators say evidence links the same suspect from the earlier incident to both of those homicides.

In total, four scenes are now under investigation, with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Rangers working together.
Authorities say more information will be released as it becomes available.

Michigan: Plymouth Township police are on the scene after a school bus flipped onto its side.

The crash happened near Northville Road and Hines Drive and involved another vehicle.

No children were on the bus. Minor injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
