A small plane was forced to make an emergency landing Monday on a busy Gainesville Georgia roadway, hitting multiple vehicles and shutting down a major intersection. According to the Gainesville Police Department, the incident happened at Browns Bridge Road and Pearl Nix Parkway. Minor injuries were reported, and traffic delays followed as crews worked the scene.

Details on what caused the emergency landing have not yet been released, and the investigation is ongoing.

An attempted armed robbery of a BTV armored cash-in-transit van was foiled this morning on the SS 613 highway in Italy’s Puglia region.

Authorities say at least six attackers were involved, with some posing as police and using vehicles with flashing lights to stop traffic.

The suspects used explosives in an effort to breach the van and exchanged gunfire with responding officers.

No injuries were reported, and two suspects were detained while trying to flee.

Georgia: Conyers police are reminding drivers to be careful after a car slammed into an officer’s patrol vehicle parked alongside I-20.

The accident happened recently while a sergeant was helping a stranded driver with a flat tire on the interstate, the Conyers Police Department said in a social media post Monday.

A driver hit the patrol car while the officer was entering call notes into their computer, badly damaging the car and sending the officer to the hospital with minor injuries.
