Wisconsin safety is ejected for brutal 'targeted' hit on Michigan quarterback Dylan McCaffrey that left the junior play caller with a concussion. With 2:32 left in the third, Wisconsin safety Reggie Pearson blasted McCaffrey, the younger brother of Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey, with a shoulder to the helmet. Pearson was for targeting, ejected and will miss the first half of Wisconsin's game next week against Northwestern. After the game, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said McCaffrey had a concussion, but that it was 'clearing up for him.'๐

Police officers in Paris have used tear gas to break up anti-government demonstrators after crowds started to gather in the streets ahead of a busy afternoon of events and protests in the French capital. More than 7,000 officers are to be deployed for rallies today over fears that yellow vest protesters could try to infiltrate a march against climate change which is also planned. This morning police in riot gear were moving quickly to disperse those around the Champs-Elysees avenue, Saint-Lazare train station and Madeleine plaza - areas where protests have been banned this weekend. Most demonstrators didn't wear the fluorescent vests that gave the movement its name and authorities said more than 100 people have been arrested and 596 security controls have been implemented. Demonstrators in Bordeaux, south-west France, were also seen posing with upside-down portraits of French President Emmanuel Macron next to the EU and French flags.
