Please, pray for the Port Hueneme CA Police officer who was stabbed in the line of duty last night.🙏🏻

A Port Hueneme officer was stabbed in the face by a suspect who was then shot by police, triggering an investigation.

It happened around 4:40 p.m. Thursday after officers responded to a home on Willowbrook Drive to assist Ventura County Behavioral Health personnel, according to the Port Hueneme Police Department.

When they arrived, investigators say the suspect stabbed an officer, prompting police to shoot. Additional details about the confrontation were not released.

The suspect was struck by gunfire and taken to the hospital in stable condition. The officer who was stabbed was also said to be in stable condition.

Pennsylvania, October 2025: The officer-involved shooting involved a driver who used his vehicle as a weapon. Multiple rounds were fired at the Mercedes windshield, only grazing the driver.

Two officers were injured, one seriously in the leg from being struck, and the G-Wagon driver was charged with attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault, and more.

No different than the Minneapolis 'legal observer' who tried to ram the officers.
