BREAKING: Illegal alien from Guatemala is charged with murder -- accused of killing an 8-year-old girl -- in suspected drunk driving, fiery crash outside of San Diego on Sunday.   Seven people including other children were sent to the hospital, some with major injuries.  One adult is considered paralyzed, per the D.A.

The suspect is 25-year-old Bryan Josue Alva Rodriguez. Two prior DUIs. Was ordered to deport by a judge in 2023 but did not.

DHS says Binh Van To was arrested yesterday as a part of Operation Catahoula Crunch in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was sentenced to 40-years for aggravated kidnapping, sexual assault with a deadly weapon, and aggravated robbery — and then released on parole.

He was placed into removal proceedings. He tells me he welcomes the idea of going back to Vietnam.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has announced that Deputy Sheriff Terra McKinnon, #6224, passed away yesterday at the age of 45 after a courageous, years-long battle with breast cancer.

Deputy McKinnon faithfully served the citizens of Polk County for nearly 19 years, joining the agency in 2006. She went on to become a respected field training instructor and, in her final assignment, served as a community-oriented policing deputy out of the Dundee Station.

The Sheriff’s Office has asked the community to keep Deputy McKinnon’s family, friends, and her law enforcement family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Please, pray for the Conneaut Lake Regional Police officer who was stabbed in the line of duty this morning.🙏🏻

Pennsylvania: A Conneaut Lake Regional Police officer was seriously injured early Thursday morning while responding to a domestic dispute on West Erie Street.

According to authorities, Officer Landon Caldwell arrived at the scene around 4 a.m. when Adam Mitchell exited a nearby laundromat and aggressively approached him. Mitchell allegedly struck Caldwell with his fist, prompting the officer to tackle him to the ground. During the ensuing struggle, Mitchell reportedly stabbed Caldwell with a knife, causing severe injuries.

Despite his injuries, Caldwell managed to restrain Mitchell until additional officers arrived. Caldwell was transported by ambulance to Meadville Medical Center and later transferred to UPMC Hamot Trauma Center for further treatment. His condition has not been released.

Mitchell was medically cleared at Meadville Medical Center before being taken to the Crawford County Correctional Facility. He faces multiple charges, including Attempted Homicide, Aggravated Assault, and Terroristic Threats. An arraignment is pending.

A TxDPS Trooper stopped a blue Chevy pickup for a traffic violation, which led to the discovery of six illegal immigrants crammed in the rear seat area.

The driver, Gabriel Hernandez of Laredo, Texas, was arrested and charged with six counts of Smuggling of Persons.

The six illegal immigrants, all wearing reflective work vests, were turned over to the U.S. Border Patrol.
