Lancaster Deputy Injured in Collision With Burglary Suspect’s Vehicle

Lancaster, CA — At approximately 5:34 a.m. Wednesday morning, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy responding to a burglary call near 65th Street West and Avenue J-2 was struck by the suspect’s vehicle in a T-bone collision.

According to officials, additional deputies and Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel were immediately dispatched to the scene. Assigned fire units included Battalion 11, Engine 130, and Squad 130.

Authorities confirmed that the suspect remained at the scene following the crash. The condition of the deputy has not yet been released, and the incident remains under investigation.

- He conducted multiple searches of ballistics and the "Charlie Kirk Shot Video" between 9/23-9/24.
-Between 8/19-8/24, he searched apps that tracked the presence of ICE agents.
- One of the handwritten notes recovered read, "Hopefully this will give ICE agents real terror, to think, 'is there a sniper with AP rounds on that roof?"
- Further accumulated evidence to this point indicates a high degree of pre-attack planning.

NEW: A man has been arrested and charged after allegedly making social media threats against a Charlie Kirk vigil at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Xaelyn Dunbar, 19, has been charged with making a terroristic threat by intentionally and knowingly threatening to commit violence. He allegedly suggested in a Sept. 15 Facebook comment that he planned to use his truck to disrupt the vigil, which drew roughly 1,000 people later that evening, the San Antonio Express News reported, citing an arrest affidavit.
