Tennessee: Early this morning, Bartlett Police officers were involved in a critical incident while serving a narcotics search warrant in Frayser. Shots were fired, and one of their officers was injured. They returned fire and the suspect involved in the incident has died.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is in charge of the investigation.

Although, not confirmed, a high ranking Officer in the department is rumored to have said “We asked for smaller, not the smallest”.

These vehicles had a very short service life with PPD. I have family that is retired from PPD and was serving during this period. This is an actual photo.

Nebraska: A Kearney police officer has been released from the hospital Thursday after getting involved in a crash involving a fellow member of law enforcement.

Kearney police said in a news release that officers responded to a serious medical emergency in northeast Kearney around 7 a.m. Thursday, when a KPD patrol vehicle and a Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office vehicle collided.

The crash happened on North Railroad Street near K Avenue.

Both vehicles were heading East when they collided, and the impact caused the KPD vehicle to hit a curb and roll several times before landing on its driver side, which trapped the officer inside.

Rescue crews worked to extricate the KPD officer who was then taken to CHI Health Good Sam with non-life-threatening injuries.
