'I shot to save my own ass and that's that': White 'Stand Your Ground' shooter reenacted killing unarmed black man while being interviewed by police and said he fired his gun because he feared he would be KICKED. Michael Drejka is on trial for the death of Markeis McGlockton, an unarmed black 28-year-old who he shot dead in May 2018. Drejka, 49, had been arguing with McGlockton's girlfriend for parking in a disabled spot outside a food store in Clearwater, Florida. He did not have anyone in his vehicle and is not disabled himself but he said seeing people abusing handicap spots upset him. When McGlockton emerged from the store, he pushed Drejka over. Drejka reached for his weapon and shot him in the chest, killing him.

Female biology teacher, 23, is charged with rape and sodomy 'after having sex with a 15-year-old male student multiple times during the summer break'. Kentucky high school teacher Kendall Burk, 23, was arrested on Wednesday on four counts each of sodomy and rape stemming from her alleged summer tryst with a minor. The illicit relationship came to light after another student alerted school officials of the allegations against the biology teacher on Wednesday.
