NEW: ICE Los Angeles HSI Integrated Operations Group arrested Gerardo Gonzalez-Cortes, 29, a Mexican national, Aug. 18. Gonzalez has been charged with carrying an unregistered loaded handgun and battery against a peace officer. He is in ICE custody pending removal.
