Ferguson community gathers to pray for injured officer’s healing.

Residents gathered in the parking lot of the Ferguson Police Department Sunday for a “Day of Healing & Prayer” to show support for Officer Travis “TJ” Brown, who remains in recovery after a critical injury during a protest riots last August.

Authorities shot and killed a mountain lion after an 11-year-old child was reportedly bitten outside a Malibu home Sunday night.

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: 2 men accused of carjacking 3 vehicles, including big rig in "GTA-style" police chase.

The search continued Monday for two carjacking suspects who led authorities on an hour-long police chase across Los Angeles County. The pursuit took multiple bizarre turns as the suspects allegedly carjacked at least three vehicles, including a big rig on live TV on the 5 Freeway.

Georgia: A Forsyth police officer was injured after they were rear-ended while working a crash site on Interstate-75, according to a social media post from the police department.

They said, around 3:30 a.m. on Friday, an 18-wheeler was involved in a crash, where it rolled over.

The police department said that two lanes were closed and officers pulled up to the scene to redirect traffic.

The post said that the officers put on their emergency lights, set up emergency arrows and asked drivers to move to the left-most lanes.

However, a driver heading north failed to move left and rear-ended an emergency vehicle.

The Forsyth Police Department provided several photos.

The post said that the officer was brought to a local hospital, but was released to recover at home.
