Chilling video emerged late Tuesday morning of a deadly shootout between a suspect and California Highway Patrol officers that left a cop and the gunman dead. The gun battle took place at around 5.30pm on a freeway in Riverside after officials say 49-year-old Aaron Luther was pulled over and had his pickup truck impounded. Luther, a former convict, was shot dead by police after pulling a rifle from his vehicle and opening fire on officers. California Highway Patrol officer Andre Moye, 33, was mortally wounded in the armed confrontation and two of his colleagues were hurt, one of them critically.👮🏻‍♂️ #shooting

(WARNING 21+) #LVMPD held a news conference Monday afternoon to discuss a traffic stop last Wednesday evening on Paradise Road near Sahara Avenue that quickly escalated to gunfire when Las Vegas police say the suspect used a pickup truck as a weapon against officers. According to investigators, two officers attempted to block 29-year-old Austin Cadeaux from pulling out of a parking spot at a convenience store when he threw his vehicle into reverse and accelerated toward police. During the chaos, LVMPD says Officer Joshua Byington fired 13 rounds from his service pistol as the pickup continued north on Paradise at a high rate of speed. Moments later, the pickup hit two civilian vehicles before the suspect finally jumped out and attempted to escape on foot. (WARNING 21+) Saturday afternoon around 3:54 P.M. the Burke County Sheriff’s Office responded to a BOLO regarding a kidnapping. The BOLO referenced a burgundy Toyota Camry carrying a woman who was kidnapped and held at gunpoint. Deputies began patrolling the area in search of the vehicle. Officer Eric Madison saw the car pass him at 4:33 P.M. He then began following the car to a driveway on Farmer’s Bridge Road and Springhill Church Road. The kidnapped woman attempted to flee the vehicle as 45-year-old Freddrick Andrews Hadden started shooting at both the woman and Deputy Madison. The woman was shot twice as she ran past Deputy Madison in an attempt to hide behind his patrol car. Deputy Madison returned fire at Hadden until he was shot to death. 🔫👮🏻‍♂️ #shooting

A Gilbert woman has filed a federal complaint against a police officer from her east Valley town, alleging that she suffers ongoing brain damage from his excessive use of force during her arrest. Bodycam video of the arrest obtained by Phoenix New Times shows the 36-year-old woman, Samantha Glass, inebriated and resisting arrest after the officer told her she was being detained at an apartment complex. Second incident video. Ade Thompson, 23 (12.03.96) of Seeley Drive, SE21 was charged on Monday, 12 August with driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance and possession of class B drugs. He will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 27 August. A 47-year-old woman who was injured in the collision remains in hospital; her injuries are not life-threatening.
