MSgt. Kuhn served the Oklahoma City Police Department with dedication and honor since 2000. Kuhn was deeply respected by his colleagues and the community he served.

UPDATE: Fresno Co unit said the pilot ejected and is code 4. They did transport him to a hospital via a helicopter but that could just be standard protocol for ejections.

UPDATE: The U.S. Navy has now confirmed that an F-35C Lightning II with the “Rough Raiders” of Strike Fighter Squadron 125 (VFA-125) crashed earlier near Naval Air Station Lemoore in Central California.

Prayers for the two Springfield Police officers who were stabbed in the line of duty this afternoon.🙏🏻

Oregon: A suspect was shot and killed by police in Springfield Wednesday after allegedly brandishing two knives at officers and attacking them, according to the Springfield Police Department.

The incident occurred at about 2:37 p.m. when Springfield police officers were called to the area of Gateway Street and Kruse Way for a person acting disorderly inside a business.

When officers got there, the suspect pulled out two knives and threatened to fight the officer, who then called for backup. The suspect then stabbed two Springfield police officers, causing "significant injuries," according to officials.

The officers were taken to a local hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown.

A drone photographer filmed some gray whales swimming near a tour boat off the coast of Orange County, in what he said was an unusual sighting for the time of year.

The unexpected sighting comes just days after a dead gray whale washed up in San Francisco Bay, prompting concern from scientists, the Marine Mammal Center said.
