If you are a parent of teens who frequent gaming or social media sites and haven’t heard of the “764 Network,” it is time to start paying attention.

The FBI is warning that a disturbing trend is emerging where a loosely organized network of violent predators is targeting teens through popular online platforms and then directing them toward escalating sexual and violent behavior.

Happy 110th Birthday to the Fraternal Order of Police!

On this day in 1915, the Fraternal Order of Police was born—founded by brave officers in Pittsburgh who believed law enforcement deserved a voice, a brotherhood, and a seat at the table.

110 years later, we’re proud to stand as the world’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, fighting every day for the men and women who protect and serve.

From better working conditions to stronger communities, from the streets to the Hill—we’ve never stopped backing the badge.

Here’s to 110 years of unity, service, and strength.
Here’s to the next chapter.

Kudos to Missouri State Trooper Eric Goans for potentially preventing a mass shooting.

He stopped a driver traveling 99MPH who revealed her wish to kill people. A search found a rifle, large quantities of ammo & medical supplies.

Just after school dismissal on Tuesday afternoon, a 17-year-old Mather High School student was shot while sitting in a vehicle near Mather Park in Chicago’s West Ridge neighborhood.

The incident occurred around 3:19 p.m. in the 5900 block of North California Avenue, just south of Peterson Avenue. The teen was transported to NorthShore Evanston Hospital in good condition, according to police.

The shooting sent other students and parkgoers scrambling for safety. Police are searching for suspects who were last seen fleeing northbound through the park. Investigators are also looking into a white Nissan Altima spotted near the scene in connection with the incident.
