Police on Long Island have warned those enjoying the waters on this hot weekend to be wary of a large shark that was in shallow waters in the area. The Quogue Police Department said that the shark was seen near Penniman Creek at approximately 9am on Saturday. The creek provides access to the Shinnecook Bay and the Quogue Canal, Pix 11 reports.
