JUST IN: California Democrats have just killed a bill AB89, presented by Republican Kate Sanchez, that would protect girls sports.

All Democrats voted against the bill, all Republicans voted to pass the bill.

This after CA Governor Newsom said in a podcast he opposed men in women's sports.
