Texas authorities say a family of four, including two young children, were hospitalized after their firework-filled truck caught fire during a road rage dispute. Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Department share that the father got into an altercation with a stranger at the 1800 block of W. Mount Houston on Thursday at approximately 9.30pm. The suspect is said to have pulled out a gun as the argument progressed, at which point the father ran back to his truck and attempted to drive off. Deputies state that the gunman opened fire on the truck and caused the fireworks to ignite inside. 'Family had bought fireworks. It is believed gunfire struck the fireworks causing them to ignite,' Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez explained to KTRK. 👮🏻‍♂️

A bicycle ended up wedged between a police SUV and a parked car after an officer swerved in front of a rider in New York City. The collision happened near to Saint Marks Place on Avenue A at around 7pm, in the East Village area of Manhattan. Video from the scene show the Citi Bike sandwiched between the cars, leaving the bike's front wheel bent out of shape. The officer alleges that the cyclist was riding 'recklessly'. But the cyclist claims in the footage the police officer used excessive force to make the stop by driving the SUV in front of him. #NYC #NYPD

Weather experts are investigating reports of a ‘landspout’ tornado that was believed to have been spotted in southern New Jersey on Saturday. The Mount Laurel Fire Department posted video on its Facebook page showing what appears to be a tornado. Landspout tornadoes rarely occur, and while they are generally very weak, they can cause damage.🌪
