A scooter rider who was hit by a bus in east China has survived the horrific accident thanks to her helmet. The woman, who was four months pregnant, was trying to avoid colliding with the bus at a busy junction in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province on Monday when she fell off her scooter and got run over. Horrified passers-by and traffic police officers rushed to help the woman out of the undercarriage of the bus. She was rushed to hospital with minor injuries, according to police.
