Samantha Call grabbed the student, identified only as Matthew, just as he was about to step off her bus on April 26 in Norwich City, New York, as another car sped past. Surveillance footage from the bus shows Matthew hovering by the bus exit while it is still moving before trying to exit hastily. Thankfully, Call, who has been a school bus driver for six years, was on hand to grab the student by his backpack and drag him back inside while a car - which would almost certainly have stuck the boy - races by.

Two California police officers who shot a suspect a shocking 76 times who was hallucinating on drugs and armed with a BB gun will not face any criminal charges, authorities announced Wednesday. Anaheim officers Sean Staymates and Kevin Pederson fired dozens of shots at 50-year-old Eliuth Penazola Nava, killing him on July 21, 2018. The officers chased after Nava who was driving a white pick-up truck after his brother had reported he was armed and hallucinating on drugs.
