Winds of up to 65mph are expected in southern parts of the UK and have already wreaked havoc today. A huge tree came down outside Clapham South Station this morning (pictured main emergency services try to restore order) just one of many that caused disruption and damaged vehicles and even injured people today. Pictured bottom right is the scene close to the home of TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson in Holland Park where a man was injured when another tree came down. A mother and her children in Richmond, Surrey were lucky to escape when a tree crushed their family car. Emergency services were also forced to evacuate people from a building (bottom middle) on the banks of the Thames in Swanscombe, Kent as high winds tore its roof off. 😱
