An illegal alien gang member has pleaded guilty to murdering 33-year-old Newman, California, police officer Ronil Singh in December 2018 and will thus avoid the death penalty. The day after Christmas in 2018, Singh pulled Gustavo Perez Arriaga over on suspicion of drunk driving. That is when police say Perez Arriaga, an illegal alien from Mexico, shot Singh. Over his police radio, Singh called out, โ€œShots fired,โ€ and as police arrived at the scene of the traffic stop, they found the officer with a gunshot wound. Singh was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died, leaving behind his wife, Anamika, their newborn five-month-old son, and the mourning Newman community. Perez Arriaga was arrested that month for killing Singh โ€” a legal immigrant from Fiji โ€” but was officially charged with the murder of the law enforcement officer in January 2019. (Read more.)

ANAHEIM, Calif. - A video showed a horrific chain reaction crash that left three people, including a police officer, hurt in Anaheim. The Anaheim Police Department responded to a two-car crash on Monday night. While an officer was looking into the crash, a third car smashed into the crash scene sending the second car plowing into the officer. The third driver, the one that plowed into the scene, suffered minor injuries. The driver of the third vehicle, the officer and a third person were all taken to the hospital. Despite the horrific nature of the crash, everyone is expected to be OK, including the officer. The crash broke the officer's leg, Anaheim PD said. The chain reaction crash remains under investigation. Neither alcohol nor drugs played a role in the crash, police say.

BREAKING: Hundreds of uncounted votes were found on memory cards in Walton and Douglas County, Georgia Secretary of State officials said. The total number of uncounted ballots found in the audit of Georgia's 2020 presidential election has increased to nearly 6,000 after two more counties say they've found discrepancies.

Tuesday, an additional 284 ballots were found in Walton County, officials say. Board of Elections chair Lori Wood told the Walton Tribune the problem was due to a precinct not uploading votes from one of its two ballot scanners. "We would have discovered it," Wood said. "Maybe not this week, but we would have discovered it." On Wednesday, Georgia election official Gabriel Sterling announced that another memory card had been found with 293 ballots on it in Douglas County.

Totaled together, the additional votes from both counties included 353 votes for President Donald Trump, 205 votes for former Vice President Joe Biden, and 17 votes for Libertarian candidate Jo Jorgensen. The adjusted results from two counties came less than a day after the Secretary of State's Office announced there were 2,755 uncounted votes on a memory card in Fayette County.
