A New Orleans Police Department officer was shot in the face by a man in the back of a pedicab Friday afternoon in the French Quarter. The four-year veterans of the force is in serious but stable condition according to NOPD Superintendent Shaun Ferguson, who also described the shooting as an "ambush." The shooting happened near St. Phillip and Royal Streets at around 4:30 p.m. Two officers were sitting in their patrol car when the gunman opened fire. One officer was grazed by broken glass while another officer suffered more serious injuries, included a bullet to the face. Police arrested the suspect a few blocks away and was described as being in "medical distress." He was the taken to the hospital.

About 1,000 people at a vigil for Kevin Peterson Jr, a black man killed by Clark county sheriffs yesterday. A scuffle breaks out, tensions continue to rise.
Gun lost during the fight between Vancouver protesters and the two locals. Protester then finds gun and runs off with it. Shortly after flag wavers left the area, armed Proud Boys came and told protesters from the vigil to get out of the street. “This isn’t Portland”.
After Vancouver police push protesters away from the park and make multiple arrests the protest appears to be over for the night.
