JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One woman is dead and a man is hospitalized after a Tuesday night incident at the Amazon fulfillment center on Jacksonville's Northside, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department. This is the second fatal shooting at the Florida Amazon center in the 12000 block of Pecan Park Road this year, the last one on June 29, police said. Multiple police as well as fire and rescue vehicles were at the center after the shooting, which was reported at about 7:25 p.m., police said. Officers ran into the building immediately and found two people with gunshot wounds, police said. The woman was declared dead on scene as the man was taken to a hospital, the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department confirmed. Lt. J.D. Stronko said the man and woman "appeared to be" employees at Amazon, and early indications are that they were in some sort of relationship.

WARNING! GRAPHIC! Meanwhile, in Nagorno-Karabakh. Azerbaijani and Armenian forces exchange missile strikes, as reignited hostilities over the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh entered their third day. Both sides released footage from the conflict, which persisted overnight and into the morning. The Azerbaijani defense ministry claimed that Armenian forces had carried out large-caliber artillery shelling on the town of Tartar. At the same time, Armenia's defense ministry denounced Azerbaijan for attacking an Armenian military base and hitting a civilian bus during a drone strike, promising a 'harsh response.' The long-time foes have used an array of heavy artillery, tanks, rocket launchers, and drones against each other in recent days. In the past two days, tallies of both military and civilian casualties have reached double figures.

The organizer of a Southern California rally against police brutality and racism was charged with attempted murder Tuesday for driving her car into counterprotesters and running over a woman's head, USA Today reported. Tatiana Turner deliberately drove into a crowd of President Donald Trump's supporters with the intent to kill the woman and also seriously injured a man who broke his leg, Orange County prosecutors said. “She positioned her vehicle to be used as a backup weapon and she used that vehicle as a deadly weapon, willing to injure and kill those who stood in her way,” District Attorney Todd Spitzer said in a statement. A defense lawyer said Turner tried unsuccessfully to get help from deputies Saturday in Yorba Linda after her group was overwhelmed by a hostile crowd. Turner saw people with guns and feared for her life when she got into her car that was blocked by Trump supporters, attorney Ludlow Creary II said. She was trying to get away and didn't intend to hit anyone.

WARNING! GRAPHIC CONTENT! An officer accused of posting a photo on social media belittling a memorial for a man he fatally shot is under investigation by the San Diego Police Department and has been suspended without pay, officials said. The accusation is connected to Ibarra's #shooting death after being shot by Lucas and another officer on June 27, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported. Lucas and the other officer recognized Ibarra as a robbery suspect they'd seen on a flier and ordered him to stop walking. Ibarra ignored the command, and dropped a bag and ran, according to police body camera video footage. Authorities said he pulled a revolver out from his waistband and pointed it at one of the officers. Both officers opened fire, striking him, police said. (Read the full story.)
