Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department released body-camera footage of a deadly 2019 officer-involved #shooting in north Charlotte. The Mecklenburg County District Attorney ruled that a CMPD officer was justified in the fatal shooting of a man involved in a domestic violence situation on Aug. 2, 2019. On Aug. 2, 2019, CMPD Officer John Juhasz shot and killed Delano Williams while responding to a home on Ernest Russell Court for a domestic disturbance. Delano Williams was holding his wife and her sister at gunpoint. In the District Attorneyโ€™s review, he said that he would not be seeking charges related to the death of Delano Williams, as overwhelming evidence indicated that Officer Juhasz was reasonable in his belief that the wife was facing an imminent threat of great bodily harm or death.

Tucker Carlson Tonight: Back On The Streets. The Bail Project has paid more than $26 million in bail. The group says it has bailed out more than 12,000 suspected criminals. Who are these people? Theyโ€™re people like Samuel Lee Scott of Chicago. Scott was in jail facing assault charges for punching his wife. After he hit her, he reportedly said he, quote, "might as well finish what (he) started since (she) was going to contact the police.โ€ The Bail Project then came to the rescue. Hours after the group sprung him from jail, Scott allegedly beat his wife to death.

Meanwhile, in Atlanta, GA. Craziest thing Iโ€™ve ever seen outside my house. Seemingly peaceful protest turned to chaos. Police were lined up waiting. When the protestors arrived, all hell broke loose. Calm(er) now. Humvees have left the scene.
A white supremacist was killed in a shootout with deputies in Templeton, California, according to a San Luis Obispo Sheriff's Office news release Friday. The shooting took place Thursday morning when deputies at first tried to conduct a traffic stop on Christopher Michael Straub, 38, near a cemetery. Straub got out of his vehicle and ran through the vineyards of the cemetery. He then hid and ambushed deputies, firing multiple rounds at them with a handgun. Deputy Richard "Ted" Lehnhoff, 34, was hit in the leg and airlifted to a local hospital, where he underwent surgery and is in stable condition, the release said. Straub continued evading deputies and attempted to return to his vehicle through the vineyard, but additional deputies arrived on scene and intercepted him as he tried to regain access to his vehicle. Straub was later pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff's office. After the shooting, authorities found multiple weapons in Straub's vehicle.
