Meanwhile in South Africa, 4 lions are causing traffic chaos
Russia's best-known anti-Kremlin opposition leader Alexey Navalny is in a coma in intensive care after fentanyl overdose. His press secretary Kira Yarmysh wrote that Navalny fell sick while on a plane returning from Siberia to Minsk on Thursday morning and that the plane made an emergency landing in Omsk where he was rushed to hospital. Navalny is unconscious in a coma and connected to a ventilator, Yarmysh wrote in a series of tweets, saying his condition is "serious." The hospital in Omsk confirmed to the state news agency TASS that Navalny is in its toxicology intensive care unit and its chief doctor said he condition was serious but "stable." Navalny, 44, is Russia's most prominent opposition leader who has sought to challenge President Vladimir Putin through anti-corruption investigations and building a grassroots protest movement.

Videos from the doorbell and security cameras of a neighbor show police officers fatally #shooting the man who called police for help last week in a university-area neighborhood. Albuquerque police have given few details since the Aug. 11 death of 50-year-old Kenneth Reiss, citing an ongoing investigation, but have said Reiss fired first at officers after calling 911 to report people breaking into his home. The videos, taken along Princeton SE, a block from Reiss’ home, show Albuquerque police walking up the street with flashlights before spotting Reiss behind a vehicle. Police immediately shouted at Reiss, telling him to show his hands, before firing at least 13 times as they pivoted around the vehicle. Other voices can be heard as officers yell at Reiss. Sadly, Paris will never be the beautiful city of romance ever again. It will cease to be a top destination for western honeymooners, or a place children dream about visiting. The list of historical adversity Paris has survived and recovered from is vast: Wars, famines, dangerous ideologies, and mass destruction. The one thing it can not survive, nor recover from, is the current massive demographic shift. Paris will never be the same, and the rest of Europe follow unless the people become courageous enough to stand up.
