The Hayward Police Department released police officer body-worn camera video and other information relevant to a May 20, 2020, officer-involved #shooting that occurred at a residence in the 22000 Block of Wildwood Street. On May 20, 2020, at 2:27 PM, the Hayward Police Department Special Duty Unit was on the lookout for 23-year-old, Stoney Ramirez who was a person of interest in the May 1st homicide of a homeless Hayward man. Ramirez was also on searchable felony probation for an assault that resulted in great bodily injury. Officers had reason to believe Ramirez might be at a residence on Wildwood Street and when they arrived, they found Ramirez parked in the driveway in a white vehicle later determined to be stolen. Meanwhile, in Spain. Severe weather, including heavy rainfall, hail and strong winds, caused damage in parts of southern and central Spain on 11 August 2020. In Andalusia, emergency services responded to over 130 calls for assistance in the provinces of Córdoba and Seville. The worst of the flooding occurred in the municipality of Estepa, where several homes were damaged as flood waters raced through streets. Videos shared on Social Media showed dramatic footage of a wall collapsing in the town of Estepa. Local observers recorded 85mm of rain in 2 hours in the Estepa. Spain’s Meteorological Agency AEMET said Córdoba airport recorded 57.6 mm of rain on 11 August, with 46.4 mm falling in just 1 hour and 16.8 mm in 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, in UK, Scotland. Officials declared a major incident after the train came off the tracks near Stonehaven in north east Scotland on Wednesday morning. Dramatic footage shows smoke billowing into the sky. The train is said to have burst into flames, with the cause of the incident believed to be a landslip. Serious injuries have been reported, with sources reporting that three people are believed to have died. A driver is feared to be among them. It is understood 12 people were on board, of which six were passengers and six staff. The train involved was the 06.38 Aberdeen to Stonehaven, made up of a locomotive and four carriages.

A stunning sunrise in Kansas earlier this month got blocked by an even more spectacular sight in the sky.
The National Weather Service (NWS) office in Goodland said last Tuesday that an isolated thunderstorm in Norton County in the state's northwest cast a 75-mile-long shadow.
The storm's shadow extended southwest all the way to the Goodland forecast office, briefly blocking the sunrise.
