A protest organizer in South Carolina said he will postpone future demonstrations after at least 13 people who took part in recent rallies tested positive for the coronavirus. With cases climbing in the U.S. following the states' reversals of shutdown policies, an increase in testing, as well as protests across the country -- Lawrence Dishawn Nathaniel urged those who attended previous rallies to get tested. Nathaniel has helped lead protests across the state over the past month through an initiative called I Can't Breathe SC, following the death of George Floyd in police custody. He also founded a nonprofit community organization, People Demand Action. He said those infected attended protesters from May 30 to June 17 in Columbia, Charleston and Greenville. Four organizers, three photographers, and six protesters tested positive, he said. Nathaniel said they will conduct advocacy efforts online and virtual. He asked community leaders to do the same.

A U.S. solider has been accused of planning an attack on his Army unit by giving classified information -- including the location, movements and security of his fellow soldiers -- to a neo-Nazi Satantist group based in Europe, FOX NEWS reported. Ethan Melzer, 22, has been charged with conspiring and attempting to murder U.S. nationals, conspiring and attempting to murder military service members, providing and attempting to provide material support to terrorists and conspiring to murder and maim in a foriegn country, according to court documents unsealed Monday. He was arrested by the FBI on June 10 after investigators claimed he gave sensitive military information to the Order of Nine Angles, a British neo-Nazi Satanist group that encourages extreme violence in an effort to detabilize society and attempts to overthrow what it views as Jewish control of global culture and economics.

An 8-year-old girl and two adults were found dead on Monday afternoon in a swimming pool at a New Jersey home, cops said. “This is a devastating day for our entire community. It is too early to determine exactly what happened,” East Brunswick Police Chief Frank Losacco said. In addition to the child, the other victims were identified as the girl’s 32-year-old mother and her 62-year-old uncle. “A neighbor heard screaming and called 911,” said police Lt. Frank Sutter during a press conference outside the family home. When emergency responders arrived, they found the three victims submerged in about 4ft of water in an above ground oval shape pool. The home was surrounded by police, ambulances, and neighbors late into the evening. Township police were working with the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, according to the chief.

A split between members of a six-person club called the “Seven Deadly Sins” led to the shooting deaths of seven people this month in an Alabama home that was also set on fire, investigators said. The seven victims included three members of the group and were targeted by two other members of the group who have been arrested on capital murder charges after a two-week investigation, Marion County Sheriff Ron Puckett said. The victims were found dead in a burning home in Valhermoso Springs on June 4 by deputies responding to a report of gunfire. John Michael Legg, 20, and Frederic Allen Rogers, 23 were arrested Sunday in Oregon’s Marion County pursuant to arrest warrants, Puckett said. He said deputies investigating the homicides developed information early on in the case that led them to Legg and Rogers. The victims were Tammy Muzzey, 45, Jeramy Roberts, 31, James Benford, 22, Emily Payne, 21, Roger Jones, Jr., 19, William Hodgin, 18, of Somerville and a 17-year-old juvenile who was not identified.

President Donald Trump authorized the arrest of anyone vandalizing or destroying monuments, statues or other such federal property in the United States. He claimed violators could face up to a decade in prison, in accordance with the Veteran's Memorial Preservation Act. Many cities have ordered them removed, but many protestors have tasked themselves with their removal. Trump said his authorization is to take effect immediately and may be applied retroactively to those statues already removed.

A twisted piece of twine that looks like a noose was found hanging from a tree at Sonoma Raceway in California on Saturday, track officials have revealed. The discovery came one day before a similar item was discovered in the garage of African American NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama on Sunday, which prompted an #FBI investigation and outpouring of support for Wallace from his colleagues before the start of the Geico 500 on Monday afternoon. Wallace was instrumental in NASCAR’s decision on June 10 to ban the Confederate flag from its events, which was followed by protestors displaying the flag outside the Talladega track. Sonoma Raceway President Steve Page said the item was found behind a former administrative office on the property and that the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident. The northern California track was set to host its annual #NASCAR Cup Series race on June 14, but it was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
