Amazon is considering removing the TV show โ€œThe Dukes of Hazzardโ€ from its online streaming services, according to Bloomberg. The news outlet reports that a person familiar with the matter said itโ€™s a part of a broader review of content for potentially offensive material. The popular series first aired in the 1970s and featured a car with a large confederate flag on the roof, which was nicknamed the General Lee. Other shows and movies have also come under scrutiny in wake of recent protests for racial injustice and police brutality, including โ€œGone With the Wind.โ€ HBO chose to remove that film this week until it can return with historical context. #facepalm

A group of people entered the CHAZ perimeter Saturday carrying large American flags. A melee broke out and some protesters occupying the zone tried to rip the flags from their hands. It was not clear what group those carrying the flags were affiliated with, but some in the crowd accused them of being members of the Proud Boys.

Is it CHAZ or CHOP? In the six blocks seized by Seattle protesters, there was plenty of confusion this weekend as some seek to change the name of the self-proclaimed Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone to Capitol Hill Organized (or Occupied) Protest. โ€œThis is not an autonomous zone. We are not trying to secede from the United States,โ€ one protester, Maurice Cola, said Saturday afternoon in a video interview circulating on Twitter. Some sidewalks showed chalk lettering featuring the new CHOP branding.
Seattle police have asked the public for help identifying an arson suspect seen on video early Friday morning pouring liquid onto the exterior of the abandoned East Police Precinct before setting it on fire. On Friday, June 12th, just before 3:00 AM, a man wearing a bright green or yellow sweatshirt, black pants and white tennis shoes and carrying a red container was observed walking up to the east side of the building. It appeared that the suspect poured liquid from the can along the exterior wall of the building and then walked away to the south. A few minutes later the same individual returned, lit something in his hand and dropped it, igniting the wall and the sidewalk. The suspect walked away and people nearby rushed to put out the flames before it spread to the rest of the building or the nearby tents. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Seattle Police Department Violent Crimes tip line at (206) 233-5000.
