Protestors at the Wisconsin State Capitol protest pushed back at state Gov. Tony Evers' coronavirus response, which has been extended into May 26.
Protestors in Nevada drove down the Las Vegas Strip to demand it and other small businesses be re-opened while thousands of demonstrators gathered at the Wisconsin State Capitol and anti-lockdown protests continue to spark across the country. In Las Vegas, conservative radio host Wayne Allyn Root organized an anti-lockdown protest that started on Las Vegas Boulevard. The event, 'Open Nevada, Unleash Prosperity, Save America,' was referred to as 'America's First Interactive Drive-Thru Protest Caravan' as protestors drove some 11 miles down the Las Vegas Strip to fight stay-at-home orders. Root told Breitbart that the Las Vegas protest was 'the safest protest in America,' adding that protestors adhered to mandated social distancing rules by staying inside their cars. However, photos showed protestors outside without masks or gloves as they gathered in a parking lot before the rally began. 'We support the economy. We support capitalism. We support Trump,' he said.
