Images and videos keep emerging from the aftermath of the deadly tornado outbreak across Middle Tennessee. Mt. Juliet police released body camera video from officers who were first on the scene after the EF-3 tornado hit Wilson County. The department said officers raced door-to-door, checking on residents and helping to rescue those who were trapped.Police Chief Hambrick jumped into action and assisted in many rescues in his own neighborhood after it was hit by the tornado. He along with Officer Eric Stogner, Officer Megan Smith and members of FDMJ were able to pull a woman from the debris.

Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Bureau are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect who killed 48-year-old Erik Perez. On Monday, January 6th, 2020, around 7:30 p.m., Rampart Area uniformed patrol officers responded to a radio call of a victim down on the 900 block of South Alvarado Street. When officers arrived, they discovered a victim on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his chest.Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene. #LAPD

The investigation revealed the suspect walked southbound on Alvarado Street and passed the victim on the east sidewalk. The suspect stopped, turned around, and shouted at the victim. The victim turned and faced the suspect. Both victim and suspect walked toward each other, at which time the suspect produced a handgun from his waistband. The suspect fired one shot, striking the victim in the chest. The suspect fled on foot, southbound on Alvarado Street to eastbound Olympic Boulevard.

The suspect is described as an older male White or Hispanic with long hair in a pony tail. He was wearing eye glasses, a gray sweat shirt, a black button-down shirt, light colored pants and black shoes.

A Tennessee man is accused of sexually assaulting two women at a shelter for tornado victims in Nashville just days after the deadly storm ripped through communities and obliterated homes. Cory Sullivan, 45, tried to befriend the victims, who slept on cots next to his at the Centennial Sportsplex shelter, by buying them food, the women told police in an arrest affidavit. Sullivan later grabbed them both by the hair and forced them to swallow suboxone strips, which help people recover from opioid addictions, the affidavit said according to the Tennessean. He tried to kiss them on their necks and touch their backsides while the two women walked to a local pizzeria. Back at the shelter, one of the women accused Sullivan of kissing their necks and groping them while they were on their cots. At least one witness inside the shelter said they saw the unwanted sexual advances and that at least one woman told Sullivan to stop, the document said.

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones was arrested early Tuesday morning and charged with driving while intoxicated, according to the Travis County Sheriff's Office.
