(WARNING: 21+) Chicago's Civilian Office of Police Accountability released body camera footage of an officer involved shooting that occurred at South Shore neighborhood on Jan. 4, 2020. Officers were responding to calls of a man with a large knife robbing people outside businesses near 79th and Marquette. Bodycam and surveillance camera footage shows two officers chasing Davis on foot. Davis stopped in front of a store as officers tried to get him to drop his knife. A female officer tased Davis and when that didn’t work, police say they had to use lethal force. Davis was shot at about 3:15 p.m. when the man continued to walk toward officers while holding a knife, despite having been told to drop the weapon. Davis was transported to the University of Chicago in critical condition. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. #shooting

The Prince George’s County Police Department is mourning the loss of an off-duty detective who passed away earlier today at her home in Waldorf. Shortly before 10:00 am, first responders were called to the home of Corporal Danita Ingram for a medical emergency. Despite life-saving measures, Corporal Ingram passed away a short time later. Police say there are no signs of any foul play. “Our police family is deeply saddened at the loss of Corporal Ingram. She served this community and agency for more than a decade. She will be missed. On behalf of the entire Prince George’s County Police Department, I extend our deepest condolences to all who knew and loved her,” said Chief Hank Stawinski. Corporal Ingram joined the Prince George’s County Police Department in 2008. She was assigned to the Bureau of Investigation, Narcotics Enforcement Division. She was 51 years old. She is survived by her four children, three sons and one daughter. #RIP

The US coronavirus death toll has risen to 12 after a woman in her 90s died in Washington state. In total, 11 people have now died in Washington and one death has been reported in California as the number of cases in the U.S. soars to more than 200 across 19 states. It comes as health officials in Washington, who are dealing with the worst of the COVID-19 outbreak in the United States, bought a $4 million motel and set up a #coronavirus quarantine site made up of 'mini hotel room' trailers for infected patients. The number of cases in Washington alone jumped to 70 with health officials there scrambling to keep the coronavirus at bay. An increase in testing countrywide has seen a jump in confirmed cases in Washington state, California and New York - with Nevada and Tennessee each reporting their first cases in the last 24 hours. The cases in New York state jumped to 22 after a Manhattan attorney infected more than a dozen people, including his own family, and multiple other unrelated cases were announced.

Newport, South Wales, UK yesterday, the appreciative migrants grab a charity bucket raising money for St David's hospice.. Be careful, some robbers also steal your videos from your telegram channels. The rhetorical question: how do British thieves differ from migrant thieves? 🤫
