The deadly new coronavirus spreading across Asia is far more contagious than previously feared and can be spread third-hand via a simple cough or sneeze, medics have today confirmed. Eighteen people with the virus are now confirmed to have died and more than…
The death toll in China's coronavirus outbreak has risen to 26, hours after World Health Organization officials said it was 'too early' to declare the incident an international emergency. More than 800 cases have been confirmed globally since the SARS-like virus broke out in the central province of Hubei, including one in the US and two in Japan. The vast majority of cases have been recorded in Hubei's capital of Wuhan over the past month, but the virus has now spread to other parts of the world during the busy Lunar New Year travel period. The World Health Organization said during a press conference on Thursday that an emergency could still be declared a PHEIC if the outbreak continues to spread. It comes on the heels of the Chinese government announcing that it was locking down Wuhan, the city of 11 million people and the epicenter of the outbreak. ☣️

SHOT Show 2020 Suppressed Polymer Lifecard

Trailblazer makes the Lifecard, a compact, easy-to-conceal firearm that may be a bit slow to deploy. A single shot hideaway. While they work to expand the line, and keep up with demand, the bossman decided he had to address the two great advances in firearms advancement to date. The first was easy: he made the grip out of polymer. This promises to make the already light Lifecard positively wispy, but to also bring the price down a lot.
The second was just for fun: her gave it a threaded muzzle, and installed a suppressor on it.
The one on his display gun is a GSL Technologies Pill Box, a silencer so small it looks like a.....pill box.

Vanessa Nakate is a 23-year-old climate activist from Uganda who this week attended the World Economic Forum in Davos, Buzz Feed reported. On Friday, she took part in a news conference with Greta Thunberg and other activists ahead of a Fridays for Future protest in the Swiss town. However, she was dismayed to find that in news coverage of the event, she had been cropped out of a photo issued by the Associated Press news agency featuring Thunberg and fellow activists Luisa Neubauer, Isabelle Axelsson, and Loukina Tille. AP later changed the photo that appeared as the thumbnail on Twitter for the story Nakate tweeted.

The second US case of deadly coronavirus has been confirmed in Chicago, Illinois as dozens get tested across the country, including in New York, health officials say. On Friday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced the patient is a 60-year-old woman who traveled to Wuhan, China - where the virus originated - in late December. Health officials say the woman appears to be 'well' and in stable condition. She is in isolation, but it wasn't revealed which hospital she is in. Meanwhile, the city of Wuhan is on lockdown with no one allowed to leave the city either by plane or bus. ☣️

The photos of small children bearing rifles in the southwestern state of Guerrero were the latest shock to a Mexico that has become increasingly accustomed to troubling news after two years of record levels of violence, LA Times reported. The images, which showed around 20 children doing military style drills, emerged days after 10 local musicians were murdered by suspected cartel hitmen in Chilapa de Alvarez, one of the most violent municipalities in Guerrero. During 2019, it's estimated that 90 people died each day in Mexico from cartel-related homicides. Drug gang violence has been so bad in Guerrero that thousands of residents have fled remote communities across the state and now live as internally displaced persons. The Mexican government says more than 61,000 citizens are missing - the vast majority of them victims of the country’s grinding war with powerful drug gangs that have grown more violent.
The United States government is planning to evacuate citizens from the coronavirus-stricken Chinese city of Wuhan. The US is arranging a charter flight on Sunday to bring its citizens and diplomats back from Wuhan. The city, which has a population of around 11 million, is considered the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak, and has been placed effectively placed on lockdown since Thursday. Roughly 1,000 American citizens are thought to be in Wuhan. So far a Boeing 767 jet, which carries around 230 people, has been organized to carry diplomats from the US consulate as well as US citizens and their families, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a person familiar with the operation. It is understood medical personnel will be on the flight to care for anyone who may have been infected by the virus and prevent it from spreading. The US also plans to temporarily shut its Wuhan consulate, it said.☣️
