A 'meteor' was filmed falling from the sky over Guam in the Mariana Islands, Oceania. Viewers say the fireball, which could also be debris from a Long March 5 rocket test in China, was a 'gift' from North Korea or China. Officials have said they are 'tracking and working to validate any information'.
The blast targeted a tax collection center during the morning rush hour in Mogadishu as Somalia returned to work after its weekend. Police have described the explosion as 'devastating'. Dozens of wounded people were rushed to hospitals, including children. Among them were several university students who had been traveling in a bus, police said. Photos from the scene showed the mangled frames of vehicles. A large black plume of smoke rose above the capital. ๐Ÿ’ฅ
WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT! Hong Kong riot police arrested at least 15 people in clashes Saturday with dozens of pro-democracy protestors who targeted a mall near the border with China to demonstrate against mainland tourists and shoppers. The fresh unrest ended a brief calm after protestors had battled riot police in shopping malls and streets of commercial districts across the city for three days over the Christmas period. About 100 protesters marched through the mall shouting, 'Liberate Hong Kong!' and 'Return to the mainland!' On Saturday afternoon, masked plain-clothed officers wielding batons arrested 14 people, including a 14-year-old girl, who were protesting inside the mall in Sheung Shui district, forcing shops to shut and harassing shoppers, a reporter at the scene said. Riot police charged into the mall to reinforce the officers and used pepper spray to disperse a crowd of residents who gathered to protest against the arrests. #HK

(WARNING 21+) The Concord city, CA, has released officer body camera footage showing a dramatic Dec. 1 incident, where officers burst into an elderly coupleโ€™s home and fatally shot their son as he straddled his own mother on the kitchen floor, knife in hand. The son, 60-year-old Donald Eversen had attacked his 90-year-old father and 85-year-old mother, prompting them to call police. An earlier portion of the video shows the father exiting his home on the 900 block of Oasis Drive, his face bloody from the attack. According to police, officers went to the house after the couple called police to report their son acting erratically and possibly under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Graham is a 17-year veteran of the department, and Rodriguez has been with the department for about a year and a half, police said. Both were placed on administrative leave after the shooting. ๐Ÿ”ซ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ #shooting
