A clerk at Kam's Market on Port Chicago Highway at Lynbrook Street in Bay Point was violently attacked during a robbery at 11 p.m. Sunday and ended up shooting and killing one of the two intruders. In surveillance video, you see the armed robbery suspect hit and knock down the clerk and then go for the cash in the drawer. The owner of the store says another attack was happening off camera. "There were two guys. One was holding onto my other employee in the back with a gun and one came around here to try and rob us," said store owner Kamal Sandhu. That's when the situation escalated -- the intruder started to hit clerk and the gun went off. The robber started to run and then you hear another shot -- clerk shooting the robber, who later collapsed and died. The second man got away. Clerk has 12 staples in his head- he hasn't thought too much about the man who died.

Three would-be robbers were shot and killed Monday after being confronted in a Texas home by a teen with a shotgun, according to reports. “There are three males deceased inside the home right now,” Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said, according to KHOU-TV. “It appeared they were committing some type of home invasion or attempted burglary inside the residence.” Gonzalez added, “We’re going to have a lengthy follow-up investigation out here at the scene. Having three dead bodies inside a home is something that is not very common.” The owner of the getaway vehicle lived around the corner in Channelview, Fox 26 Houston reported. It was unclear if he was one of those killed. The Houston Chronicle identified the teen with the shotgun as 19-year-old Yair Gallegos. 👮🏻‍♂️

An East Bay salon got a Christmas rush it wasn't expecting, ABC7 reports. A Tesla crashed through Tribez Salon and Blowdry Bar in Danville's Blackhawk Shopping Center, California. A witness said he heard a loud screech, then saw the Tesla had smashed through the glass doors and rolled over chairs and finally came to a stop near the product displays. The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash, and it is still unclear if anyone was injured.
