AN ACCIDENTAL BUMP AT THE STATE FAIR allegedly ended with roughly a DOZEN young men stomping a 45-year-old man's face into the ground so badly that he needed emergency reconstructive surgery.

Sammy Kimbrough's fiancée says he accidentally bumped into someone in the crowd at the Minnesota State Fair and tried to defuse the situation, but the confrontation escalated anyway. She says the group surrounded Kimbrough, knocked him down and continued kicking and stomping him while he was helpless.

He suffered multiple jaw fractures, severe facial injuries and major dental damage.

Thousands of people accidentally bump into strangers at crowded fairs, concerts and sporting events every day without turning into a pack of animals.

Police were still looking for suspects when the attack was reported.

BREAKING: Helicopter crashes in Chatsworth, Los Angeles

At least one person is confirmed dead after a helicopter crashed near the scene of a deadly bus collision in Chatsworth on Tuesday evening. It is unknown who the helicopter belongs to. The ABC7 helicopter crews that were covering the Chatsworth bus crash at the time of the incident are accounted for.

LAFD just gave an update, 3 people deceased.1 person was transported in unknown condition: "The fire has been completely extinguished. No exposure to any structures. 4 automobiles and 2 storage containers have been damaged by the fire. Four patients have been assessed. Three patients have been determined deceased on scene. One patient has been transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. NTSB and FAA will be handling the investigation."

TENNESSEE IS SET TO EXECUTE CHRISTA PIKE ON SEPTEMBER 30 — and now her attorneys are asking the governor to spare her life because she was only 18 when she committed the crime.

But before anyone decides that means Pike deserves mercy, remember what happened to her victim, 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer.

Prosecutors said Pike helped lure Colleen to an isolated area, where she was tortured, beaten, slashed and ultimately brutally k*lled with a chunk of asphalt. Pike carved a pentagram into her chest and kept a piece of her skull afterward as a souvenir.

Now Pike is 50 years old, and her attorneys are asking Governor Bill Lee to commute her sentence to life without parole.

More than three decades have passed, but the brutality of this crime has not changed with time, and the victim should not become an afterthought simply because the woman convicted of killing her has gotten older.

Pike's attorneys are asking Tennessee for mercy. Is this an argument for a different punishment?

Members of the Trinidad Police Department spoke at a city council meeting on Tuesday to express their frustration with the state closing their department.

On September 15, 2026, around 6:58 p.m., LAPD officers responded to the area of Lurline Avenue and Nordhoff Street in Chatsworth regarding a reported helicopter crash.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will lead the investigation.

The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) can provide information regarding any reported injuries.

At this time, it is unknown who the helicopter belongs to or how many people were on board. We can confirm that the helicopter was not an LAPD Air Support Division aircraft.

NEW: ICE Los Angeles arrested Jose Manuel Soto -Ochoa, 29, of the Mexico, Sep. 11. Soto was convicted of possession with intent to distribute crystal meth and sentenced to 120 months prison. He is in ICE custody pending proceedings.

NEW: Three Bucyrus police officers were injured Sept. 14 while investigating a breaking-and-entering call.

During the incident, Officer Devin Wireman, the department's K9 handler, "fell into an empty pond and sustained serious injuries," according to a news release.

"Wireman was transported for medical care and is currently in stable condition," police noted. "At this time, we will not be releasing the location where Officer Wireman was transported."

The other two officers were treated for minor injuries.
