California Election Fraud Update: James Brass, 47, of Victorville, was arrested today on a federal indictment charging him with paying people on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles to sign petitions using stolen identities of registered voters to qualify initiatives…
UPDATE: A San Bernardino County man was arrested today on a federal grand jury indictment charging him and two other defendants with paying people on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles to sign petitions using stolen identities of registered voters to qualify initiatives on ballots in California elections.

James Brass, 47, a.k.a. β€œLord,” of Victorville, was arrested this morning and is expected to make his initial appearance this afternoon in United States District Court in Riverside.

Also charged in the two-count indictment are two petition circulators who worked for Brass: Courtney Price, 49, of Jacksonville, Florida, and Jateisha Herron, 33, of Boron, California.

All three defendants are charged with one count of conspiracy to commit identity fraud in furtherance of a state felony. Brass and Price are charged with an additional count of identity fraud in furtherance of a state felony.

Patrick Grandy, FBI Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI's Los Angeles Field Office, said,
β€œIt is imperative that Americans have confidence in our voting system and election infrastructure.  The scheme outlined in today’s indictment sought to undermine an essential pillar of our democracy and cause an undue burden on taxpayers. We will remain vigilant in detecting those trying to weaken our political process and we will aggressively investigate any allegations of voter fraud or other election crimes.”

NEW: Berkeley County Sheriff Duane Lewis announced the arrest of a Ladson man who was charged after he assaulted a deputy on a traffic stop. Devon Marquell McCants, 36, of Curly Lane is being charged with Resisting Arrest with Assault on Law Enforcement, Possession of Fentanyl, Possession of Cocaine, Burglary second degree, Petit Larceny, and Shoplifting.

On August 28, just before 1 a.m., a Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office deputy observed a vehicle traveling on Ancrum Road toward Highway 78. The deputy observed multiple traffic violations, including improper lane travel, failure to signal and defective vehicle equipment. The deputy initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver and a front-seat passenger. During the investigation, the passenger (McCants) initially provided the deputy with a false name and date of birth. While the deputy was conducting records checks, McCants suddenly exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The deputy immediately pursued McCants on foot. During the foot pursuit, the deputy observed McCants placing plastic bags into his mouth and chewing them. The suspect also discarded a plastic bag in the grass as he ran. McCants attempted to climb over a chain-link fence but was unsuccessful. As the deputy attempted to take him into custody, McCants punched the deputy in the face with a closed fist, causing injuries to the deputy’s mouth.

A physical struggle followed, during which McCants placed the deputy in a chokehold, restricting the deputy’s ability to breathe. The deputy deployed his agency-issued Taser, causing the suspect to release the chokehold.

NEW: Honolulu PD just rolled on Kaimana Beach after beach staff called 911 on a man tearing through the sand.  Witnesses say he looked high, yelling, swearing, throwing rocks at a wall, and scaring families off the beach.  Video shows officers locating him, locking him up, and carrying him out.

Great job dealing with another violent beach drug addict.  No thanks to Senator Mazie Hirono and the rest of the Democrat machine in HawaiΚ»i for letting these people camp all over public beaches.

Honolulu law makes it illegal to camp in a public park that is not a designated campground.  They just do not enforce it until someone is already throwing rocks at tourists.

Dan Beazley drove all the way from Northville, Michigan, to Utah with a cross he built to memorialize Charlie Kirk.

Beazley first brought the cross to Arizona following Kirk’s death last year. Now, on the one-year anniversary, he brought it to UVU, where he plans to hold a vigil following the memorial service at the UCCU Center.

Beazley said there will be an open microphone at the memorial site, giving people an opportunity to share their testimonies of Jesus Christ β€” something he believes was Kirk’s most important and lasting message.

HERO ALERT: Thank GOD for the waiter who tackled a g*nman in a crowded Toledo restaurant.

Matthew Exton walked into Sabira while his ex-wife and her parents were having dinner, spat toward their table and left. Then he returned with a loaded handg*n, went straight to their table and tried to shoot her. The g*n didn’t fire because the safety was still on.

Tracy Cole Jr. stepped in before Exton could try again, tackling him as other patrons helped stop the attack. There was a round in the chamber and seven more in the magazine. This waiter put his own life on the line with a loaded g*n between him and a man determined to use it.

Cole told the jury he acted because β€œI didn’t want her to die.” He described grabbing for the g*n even as the larger man fell on top of him.

Exton’s defense admitted he pointed the g*n at his ex-wife but denied he intended to k*ll her. The jury found him GUILTY of attempted m*rder and two counts of felonious assault.

Cole is INCREDIBLE. He went to work to serve dinner and ended up fighting to keep a customer alive. THIS IS WHAT REAL MEN DO!

It was an honor to attend the City of Fontana’s First Responders Memorial ribbon cutting this morning, joined by Assistant Sheriff Ernie Perez.

This beautiful memorial serves as a lasting tribute to the brave men and women who dedicated their lives to serving and protecting others. May we never forget their service and sacrifice. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

On the one-year anniversary of Charlie Kirk’s death, people are gathering on the Utah Valley University campus, where the conservative activist was shot and killed in front of thousands of people one year ago today.

Giovanna Raccosta drove from Las Vegas, Nevada, to be at the memorial. She told me she was up late last night finishing a painting of Kirk with his Savior.

Raccosta credits Kirk’s work and influence with helping bring her family β€” including her children β€” back to church.

Raccosta told me she was overwhelmed with standing in the spot where Charlie Kirk spent his final moments.

I spoke with her about why she felt it was important to make the trip to Utah and be on the UVU campus today.

A Camden Alabama police officer has been killed in an off-duty motorcycle crash.

Cpl. Michael Andrews was killed Tuesday night.

His nickname was β€œBone,” and the department says he was more than a police officer β€” he was a friend, a brother and a valued member of their police family.

Andrews was 49 years old, and had been on the force for about five to six years.

Rest Easy Brother. Prayers for his family of blue and blood.πŸ™πŸ»

"If you could boil down why Republicans need to show up in the midterms, one sentence to sum it up?"

POTUS: "Communism β€” they are trying to turn this country around and destroy our country."

POTUS on Trump Dividends: "We're taking in $21 trillion. No country has ever taken in anywhere near that. It's four, five times higher than the next, and it's all because of that beautiful word that you and I love more than most others β€” tariffs."

POTUS on Democrats: "They're Radical Left. They are communists... But what they really have is bad policy."

POTUS: "I don't believe in the word 'regret.'"
