Itโ€™s 12:20 p.m. on the final day of the preliminary hearing for Tyler Robinson, and little has been accomplished so far. The judge will decide before end of day if the trial will be bound over in the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

The judge ruled cameras can remain in the courtroom and denied a defense request to classify the URL of a Polymarket bet on Tyler Robinsonโ€™s guilt or innocence. Not only will the URL remain part of the public record โ€” now everyone is talking about it.

Erika Kirk is in court today, sitting next to her mother- and father-in-law.

Robinsonโ€™s family is also here, sitting in the front row.

A few reporter notes from court today โ€” the final day of the preliminary hearing for Tyler Robinson, who is accused in the assassination of Charlie Kirk:
Robinsonโ€™s family is sitting in the front row of the courtroom today.

Erika Kirk is back in court, seated with Charlie Kirkโ€™s parents, Robert and Kathryn Kirk. Several family friends are also here, including Andrew Kolvet and Kathryn Adams Limbaugh, the widow of Rush Limbaugh.

Robinson is wearing another light gray suit. It gives him a more subdued, washed-out appearance โ€” very different from the traditional dark blue or black โ€œpower suit.โ€ Whether intentional or not, it has been a noticeable choice throughout these hearings.

Erika Kirk has already been emotional in court ahead of closing arguments. The judge told the family that proceedings would pause if they needed to get up and leave when a photo showing Charlie Kirkโ€™s final moments is displayed on a screen inside the courtroom. Erika nodded in agreement as the judge spoke.
From my observations inside the courtroom, Robinson does not appear outwardly stressed or overwhelmed by the proceedings. He has been talking with his defense counsel and was seen laughing and joking with them before the judge entered the courtroom.

One person who had been waiting in line for a ticket to todayโ€™s hearing and has promoted conspiracy theories surrounding the case was escorted off court property by police officers around 5 a.m.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT:
Court resumes at 1:10 p.m.
The state is expected to have about 45 minutes for its closing argument. The defense indicated it expects to take approximately an hour and 15 minutes, along with some additional discussion.

The state will then have the final word before the judge takes the arguments under consideration.

NYPD cops didnโ€™t forget how to arrest resisting suspects. Local law 10-181 made it a crime to deploy wrestling & jiu Jitsu techniques on a resisting perpetrator. This is the result.

Assassination attempt on President Trump in Butler was just used by Prosecution in Utah court as an example of why Tyler Robinson should go to trial on Aggravated murder of Charlie Kirk ... because Robinson could have hit anyone in the Charlie Kirk crowd, as Butler shooter did.  Aggravated murder carries death penalty in Utah if convicted.

Atlanta Police recruit Russ Moses, 24, was killed in a crash this morning. It happened on Moreland Avenue at McDonough Blvd.

Moses was an Atlanta resident and someone who had already dedicated years of his life serving his country and our cityโ€”first with the U.S. Coast Guard, then with the Atlanta Department of Corrections and, since March, as a member of APD Recruit Class 302.

This man was charged after allegedly DRAGGING HIS DOG to death behind his vehicle. A stranger saw the dog being dragged for miles and led police to the ded dog and two more animals at the suspect's home.

Horry County Police say 26-year-old Yudiel Navarro-Valazquez tied the dog to the rear of a vehicle and dragged the animal approximately 3.5 MILES along Cherry Hill Road.

A witness called police, who traced the vehicle to a Harvey Road residence and found the dog de*d. Investigators say the animal had been dragged behind the vehicle, placed inside it, and then taken back to the house.

Officers also found two additional dogs whose conditions resulted in two more animal-cruelty charges.

Navarro-Valazquez now faces one felony animal-cruelty charge and two misdemeanor counts.
