BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Multiple police officers were assaulted at State Fair Park in Wisconsin.

At least one police officer was punched in the face Sunday on the final night of the Wisconsin State Fair, according to an officer on the scene.

Dispatch audio indicated chaotic moments near the rides. "They need some help at Spin City. Send anybody extra you have," one police officer could be heard saying.

NEW: ICE Boston has arrested a Brazilian illegal alien fugitive aggravated murderer who was sentenced to 14 years in prison in Brazil but fled the country and crossed the US border illegally on 6/7/24, where he was caught & released into the country by the Biden administration. Brazilian authorities issued an arrest warrant for him three months later on 9/14/24 after his conviction for aggravated murder. ICE says they arrested Maycon Souto Dos Reis in Westborough, MA after he came to their attention because of a local arrest for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

ICE Boston statement: “This is yet another example of what the media often characterizes as a non-criminal, when in reality, many of these individuals are murderers, sexual predators, gang members and more. They simply do not have a criminal record in the United States,” said acting ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Boston Field Office Director David Wesling. “We will continue to pursue these dangerous criminal aliens that sanctuary politicians fight to protect.”

THIS. IS. INSANE. This man was arrested THREE TIMES in 12 days for multiple assaults. Reports say he's been arrested more than two dozen times in the past four years.

On August 1, two women near Northwest 23rd Street and Classen Boulevard accused Jeff Asare of s*xually attacking them in separate incidents.

Police arrested him for sexual battery and indecent exposure, but he was released (of course he was).

Five days later, another woman accused him of assault near Scissortail Park.
Police arrested him again. He was released AGAIN.

Six days later, police say Asare approached a woman from behind on the Lake Hefner Trail, pulled her to the ground and attempted to s*xually assault her.

Nearby firefighters intervened (and THANK GOD they were there).

Asare is now being held on a first-degree r*pe charge with a $75,000 bond. The Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office is seeking a higher bond and reviewing at least three separate incidents.

When do we start REALLY holding judges accountable? What possible justification is there for putting this man back on the streets?

NEW: An individual was killed, and an officer was injured Saturday night following an officer-involved shooting in Bel Air, Maryland.

According to the Bel Air Police Department, at 8:55 p.m., an officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a man in the unit block of Franklin Street.

Investigators say that a fight occurred during the traffic stop, and during that fight, the officer fired his weapon, striking the man.

That man, who has not yet been identified, was flown to Shock Trauma, where he later died.

NEW: A jury on Monday will begin hearing opening statements in the trial of a man accused of fatally shooting a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy nearly three years ago.

Kevin Salazar, now 32, has allegedly confessed to what authorities described as an “ambush-style” shooting that killed Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer on Sept. 16, 2023, outside the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station.

The 4th-generation deputy was 30 years old and had gotten engaged just four days prior to his death. He was on duty when he was found shot and unconscious in his patrol car by a citizen.

The Department of War is taking the lead because it is a major funder of university research....especially in areas with national security implications and has direct statutory authority and leverage over those funds

Basically the War Department is acting because the research in question is often funded by it... involves technologies with clear military or use relevance...and falls under existing NDAA research requirements.

Continued access to those dollars gives it immediate enforcement power that other agencies do not have in the same degree

The official release frames it strictly in terms of protecting national security and taxpayer-funded research
