Police seized eight guns and several high-capacity magazines from the man's home in Redmond, Washington, under an Extreme Risk Protection Order. The man has not been named because he was not arrested or charged. The gun seizure came after he tweeted a photo of himself with two AK-47-style firearms with the caption: 'One ticket for joker please.' The FBI said it was looking into posts made by extremists about the movie and warnings over potential shootings at theaters.👮🏻‍♂️

A futsal player was knocked out after a brutal tackle by a rival, who was red-carded as his victim lay unconscious on the floor. Match footage showed Brazilian Daniel Batalha following through with his right foot and kicking his opponent, Fernandinho, in the face in an assault of the kind normally seen in karate or cage-fighting. The shocking images needed no words during a TV slow-motion replay which left it clear just how dangerous the tackle had been. 😱
This is the dramatic moment a Florida convenience store owner blasted AK-47 rounds at an unarmed customer, leaving him permanently disabled. Saf Ahmad, owner of Kwik Pic in Lauderhill, was arrested in December 2017 after he shot Jason Morris in the back on Christmas Eve. The police say surveillance footage they obtained shows Morris was never in possession of a gun. Morris told police he had gone to the store to complain about a previous incident, alleging his friend was beaten up outside the building. Morris also claimed there were nefarious activities going on at the shop and customers had been threatened with violence. Ahmad's lawyer Andrew Rier is quoted by NBC as saying: 'Mr Ahmad did not provoke a confrontation. The confrontation was brought to him'. Ahmad is facing one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. His next hearing was set for November 1. #shooting

⚠️ BREAKING NEWS! (WARNING 21+) The German synagogue shooting was streamed on Amazon’s Twitch. The footage is no longer on Twitch. CNBC was able to find links to download the video on other sites including 4Chan, however. The New Zealand mosque massacre, which claimed 50 lives, was livestreamed to Facebook in March. Facebook said it worked to remove 1.5 million videos of the attack that were posted in 24 hours after it was initially streamed, and that 1.2 million of them were “blocked at upload,” by Facebook. YouTube, Twitter and Reddit also removed versions of the New Zealand livestream from their sites. 😱 #shooting
Winter storm could bring up to 2 feet of snow to central and western USA. A "potentially historic" winter storm will slam the north-central USA over the next few days with up to 2 feet of snow possible in some areas. Snow will accumulate from eastern Washington and Montana to Colorado, the Dakotas, Minnesota and northern Wisconsin, the Weather Channel said. Record low temperatures are also possible Thursday and Friday across the western USA. The system will produce severe storms and heavy rain Thursday in the southern Plains and critical-to-extreme fire weather threats from the central and southern Rockies to California, the National Weather Service said. 😱❄️☃️
Is vaping safer than smoking? Depends who you ask, and what scientific study they point to. In the past few months, vaping has turned into something critics say is little – or even no better – than smoking. The claim is central to the future of electronic cigarettes. Within weeks, the Food and Drug Administration is likely to finalize its ban on flavored e-cigarettes. About a month after that, vaping companies will have to remove flavored e-cigarettes from stores until they receive FDA approval to reenter the market. By May 2020, companies have to submit costly applications to the FDA with proof that their products are safe and help enough adults quit smoking to offset the harm in creating millions of vapers who may start smoking. Products sold by the big tobacco companies that aren't popular with teens, such as Vuse, may be the only ones to pass muster, says American Vaping Association founder Gregory Conley. 🌬☠️ #vaping

A South Carolina Ford dealership has launched a ‘patriotic’ promotion that gifts customers a free bible, an American flag and a voucher to buy an AR-15 assault rifle with every car purchased. General manager of Honea Path’s Carolina Ford dealer, Derrick Hughes, says he came up with the ‘God, Guns and America’ incentive in a bid to boost sales. Insisting the promotion wasn’t politically motivated, Hughes said the idea came from a brainstorming session with his staff, discussing how best to appeal to the demographic of the small-town, which has a large hunting community. ‘We are not taking a political stance in any way shape or form,’ Hughes told WYFF. ‘We are all country folk, God-fearing people. We are very patriotic people, believe in our country and salute our military.’ 🕺🏻
BREAKING NEWS! First arrests in Ukraine scandal as Rudy Giuliani's shadowy fixers who helped dig dirt on the Bidens are seized by feds over 'campaign finance offenses'. A pair of Florida businessmen who worked with Donald Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani to promote politically charged investigations in Ukraine were arrested on federal campaign finance charges Thursday. Lev Parnas Igor Fruman, who were each born in former Soviet Republics, assisted Giuliani's effort to get Ukraine to investigate his theory about the 2016 elections. The House Intelligence committee wants both men to testify about their work with Giuliani in Ukraine as part of its impeachment probe into Trump's interactions with Ukraine. Their lawyer has said they won't provide the information.
