On April 26, at the direction of SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations. Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations. Three male narco-terrorists were killed during this action. No U.S. military forces were harmed.

BREAKING: Multiple people were injured after a shooting in east Austin on Sunday night, according to the Austin Police Department.

The incident took place just before 8:30 p.m. at the 2000 block of E 12th St.

According to officials, they responded to a shooting with multiple shots fired. There is no active shooting situation or threat to the public.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle, and investigators are following a lead in the hopes of identifying the suspect.

Police are unsure of the number of victims and the extent of their injuries at this time, but they stated there are multiple victims being treated.
