New York: A distracted driver struck a marked State Police cruiser on the Southern State Parkway Sunday, injuring a trooper who was already managing a crash scene, police said.

The trooper had responded to the eastbound parkway near Exit 14 about 5:43 a.m. and positioned the cruiser to control traffic.
Four minutes later, a gray Jeep Wrangler plowed into the rear of the state police car, pushing it from the right lane into the center and left lanes. The Jeep came to rest on the right shoulder.

NEW: 4 people, including 3 firefighters, were hospitalized after a stubburn house fire in Glassport, PA yesterday. Another 2 firefighters were treated on scene.

Several different fire crews spent hours battling the stubborn fire along Seventh Avenue, which caused a portion of the building's roof to collapse before an excavator was brought in to demolish what was left by 10:30 p.m.

One of the firefighters who was hospitalized had been released from the hospital as of Sunday evening, Chief Snyir confirmed. He was unsure of the status of the other two firefighters. None of the injuries the firefighters sustained were deemed serious. Praying for all involved.🙏🏻

SCOOP: Fox was here as FBI agents swarmed the home of the 20-year-old suspect who threw a Molotov cocktail at OpenAi CEO Sam Altman’s house, Brooke Taylor reports.

According to sources, Daniel Moreno-Gama traveled from his home in Texas to San Francisco to try and kill Altman. He was found with a manifesto document on him when he was arrested, expressing his strong views against AI and also had a list of other Ai CEOs and investors with their names and addresses. Fox is told federal charges will be filed this afternoon.

San Diego K9 officer takes down stabbing suspect in downtown.

Sharing video of SDPD taking a suspect into custody following a reported stabbing. Officers used less-lethal rounds and a K9 unit, with clear effort to resolve the situation while minimizing further harm.
