A San Bernardino County sheriffβs deputy and four people in another car were hospitalized on Sunday, April 5, after they collided during a pursuit of a motorcycle in Fontana, authorities said.
The injuries were reported as minor. The deputy has been released from the hospital, sheriffβs spokeswoman Jenny Smith said Monday.
The chase began around 4:39 p.m. near Foothill Boulevard and Cherry Avenue, Smith said. The deputy attempted a traffic stop for a suspected vehicle code violation, but the motorcyclist failed to stop, she said.
The pursuit was short. San Bernardino County fire paramedics were called to Foothill and Banana Avenue at 4:40 p.m., department spokesman and firefighter Chris Prater said.
Four people in the car were taken to Kaiser Permanente in Fontana, while the deputy was hospitalized at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, said Fontana police Officer Daniel Romero, a department spokesman.
Praying for all involved.ππ»

No one can believe that Fake News CNN put out a knowingly false and dangerous statement pretending it came from the upper levels of the Iranian Government. It didnβt! It was totally made up and posted, as a headline, for purpose of, perhaps, inflaming a very delicate situation. It was a new, trouble making site from Nigeria, and CNN just got caught cheating - A very dangerous thing to do!

LA County is beyond corrupt, and voters are sick of it.
As they continue to recycle past false narratives, the Department is in crisis under Sheriff Luna and the Board of Supervisors. Deputies are leaving, staffing shortages are dangerously low, and deputy suicides are at historic levels.
These narratives are distractions from the real crisis facing public safety in Los Angeles County, and whoβs to blame.
