One doctor. One year. $71 million worth of Medicare claims.
A CBS News investigation found one Los Angeles County hospice physicianβs name, Dr. Rajiv Bhuva, on Medicare claims for nearly 2,800 patients across 126 hospices in a single year β which raises red flags for hospice fraud, according to state auditors.

When moments matter, the cops who serve our communities never hesitate to put the safety of others ahead of their own. This Virginia State Trooper exemplifies why Cops Count Police Matter.

Praying for the Virginia State Trooper who was seriously injured in the line of duty tonight.ππ»
A Virginia state trooper was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 95/495 near Telegraph Road Tuesday night. The incident occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m.
Emergency units were immediately dispatched, and Troopers initially requested Fairfax 1 to airlift the trooper to the hospital. However, upon arrival, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue personnel assessed the trooper as a yellow-tag patient who was conscious and breathing, and transported him via ground to a local hospital.
Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area while law enforcement continues its investigation.

βAnd when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? Behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. WATCH: Pentagon officials hold press briefing after Iran ceasefire
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth: "Iran has been a threat to the United States and the free world for 47 years. Chants of death to America, targeting our people, killing Americans, lying and blackmailing their way toward a nuclear weapon, so they thought, no longer."
"Other presidents mark time and kicked the can down the road. President Trump made history."
"Iran begged for this ceasefire, and we all know it."
"The world's leading state sponsor of terrorism proved utterly incapable of defending itself, its people, or its territory."
"[Iran] thought they could bleed America with impunity. Well, they just learned the hard way what happens when you try to fight us directly."
"The Iranians, humiliated and demoralized - we control their fate, not the other way around. That's why they came to the table."
Secretary Pete Hegseth runs through the list of Iranian regime leaders eliminated by the United States in Operation Epic Fury:
"The previous Iranian Supreme Leader, dead. The Supreme National Security Council Secretary, dead. The Supreme Leader Office Advisor, dead. The Supreme Leader Military Office Chief, dead. The Defense Minister, no longer with us... I skipped over a bunch, and I could go on, and on, and on."
"We have a chance at real peace and a real deal. The War Department, for now, for now, has done its part. We stand ready in the background to ensure Iran upholds every reasonable term."
General Dan Caine jokes about the amount of food and resources that have kept Operation Epic Fury up and running:
"Along the way, we consumed more than 6 million meals, and by my estimate, more than 950,000 gallons of coffee, 2 million energy drinks, and a lot of nicotine. But I am not saying that we have a problem."
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth shuts down a reporter shouting at him during a Pentagon briefing:
"Excuse me. Why are you so rude? Just wait. I'm calling on people."
