Rochester Police Department released bodycam video Thursday of a shooting that injured an officer early Friday. Police said the officer stopped at the intersection of Driving Park and Lake avenues to speak to a man, identified as Shatique Cato, 34, about a recent shooting in the city.

NEW DETAILS: A high-speed chase across three jurisdictions ended in multiple crashes, leaving a DC officer, a Virginia trooper, and a civilian injured.
Shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, officers in Prince George's County located and attempted to stop the Winterville, North Carolina native, though he again refused to stop and sped away, prompting a pursuit that crossed the Woodrow Wilson Bridge into Virginia.
Virginia State Troopers then joined the pursuit after it crossed the bridge, and it continued onto the southbound lanes of I-495, where Mayo struck an uninvolved vehicle that had moved to the left shoulder to yield to the pursuit.
Mayo then crossed the interstate and struck a Virginia State Police vehicle.
The trooper suffered minor injuries but was not transported to an area hospital. The uninvolved motorist who was struck was transported to an area hospital. Please, pray for all involved.🙏🏻
